The problem

The quantified leak

Peru has more than 3.3 million MSMEs, and over 95% are micro-enterprises inei.gob.pe. More than 80% of small merchants already use WhatsApp as their primary sales channel bcrp.gob.pe. Between the first customer message and the final payment there is no automation at all.

“Perdo ventas porque no llego a responder a tiempo y se me pierden los pedidos en el chat.”
“I lose sales because I can't reply in time and the orders get lost in the chat.” — pain signal from founder discovery conversations no source found

Every missed message is a lost order. Every manual reconciliation is an hour of admin. Every uncollected payment is revenue that evaporates. The leak is structural, and it is the largest addressable inefficiency in Latin American micro-retail.

The solution

Yaya Kiosco OS

A WhatsApp-native commerce operating system installed into the merchant's existing business number. No new hardware, no customer app downloads, no hourly billing.

01

Catalogue sync

Up to 200 SKUs on the Pro tier, mirrored into WhatsApp. Customers browse and order without leaving the chat they are already in.

02

Native checkout

Yape, Plin and Pix payment links generated per order. The customer pays with the wallet they already hold, and the merchant is paid directly.

03

Auto-reconciliation

A daily sales report with QR verification. Every order, every payment, every refund — reconciled without the notebook.

Delivered in 72 hours. Built on Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API developers.facebook.com and powered by yaya.cash payment rails. Inference runs on owned GPUs, so each additional merchant adds close to nothing in compute cost.

Product tiers

One-time setup, plus a low-friction monthly add-on

Micro-merchants resist recurring SaaS commitments. A productized one-time fee reads as buying a thing rather than signing up for a bill — and the S/49 add-on is small enough to clear without a decision.

TierSetupMonthlySKUsKey features
BásicoS/297S/49Up to 50Catalogue sync, Yape/Plin checkout links, automated order confirmation
ProS/597S/49Up to 200Adds auto-reconciliation dashboard, daily sales report, priority onboarding
EliteS/997S/49UnlimitedAdds multi-agent inbox routing, custom payment flows, dedicated template management

The monthly add-on is optional but is the recurring revenue line; the model assumes 90% attach, which is an assumption rather than an observed rate. Overage conversations are billed through at Meta Cloud API rates.

The wedge

Why global SaaS loses here

Incumbent WhatsApp platforms are priced in dollars, carry no Latin American payment rail, and push the merchant into a separate dashboard. We automate the money instead.

Competitor pricing is taken from public pages and has not been re-verified for 2026; several are region-locked or rendered client-side. Treat it as directional positioning rather than a current quote. At S/597 plus S/49 a month, a Peruvian merchant pays roughly one month of Wati's subscription for a permanent installation — with settlement through the wallet their customers already hold.

Market

Three rails that have already converged

Peru is the most mobile-wallet-penetrated market in Latin America. Yape and Plin each exceed ten million users yape.com.peplin.pe, WhatsApp reaches most of the population datareportal.com, and over 95% of Peruvian MIPYMES are micro-enterprises inei.gob.pe.

The channel, the payment rail and the SUNAT formalization obligation are all already in place. Nothing in this thesis depends on changing merchant behaviour — only on connecting behaviours the merchant already has. That is a timing argument, not a trend argument.

Fixed overhead is S/608.58 a month: electricity S/255, founder operations S/200, internet S/129, VPS S/22.50, domains S/2.08, and no Meta base fee inside the free tier. GPU compute is excluded — it is funded by owned hardware and an academic allocation and represents no cash outflow.

Variable cost is S/8.70 per subscriber per month while inside Meta's free tier, rising to S/10.02 beyond roughly 100 customers when conversations begin to bill through. Net margin crosses 60% at 56 subscribers and reaches 71.3% at 150.

Every figure on this page is modelled, not measured — the company is pre-revenue. The full basis of preparation, including all assumptions, known gaps and the corrections applied to the source model, is set out in Appendix A of the memorandum. See the full financial model →

Why now

Three converging forces

01

Official Cloud API access

Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, with 1,000 free utility conversations a month, removes the cost barrier that made WhatsApp automation prohibitive at this price point. Template approval and WABA verification are achievable for a solo founder holding a RUC developers.facebook.com.

02

SUNAT formalization

Peru's tax authority is pushing micro-merchants to formalize. A formalized merchant needs invoicing, reconciliation and digital records — which a notebook cannot produce cheaply gob.pe.

03

Wallet ubiquity

Yape and Plin each exceed ten million users, and QR is the default for small transactions in Lima. The payment rail is built; commerce automation is the missing layer yape.com.peplin.pe.

Go-to-market

Community-first acquisition

No paid advertising, no cold blasting. Merchants trust other merchants, so distribution runs through the groups and associations they are already in.

01

Pain-signal response

Monitor Peruvian merchant groups for posts about lost orders, slow replies or payment problems, and respond with a 60-second demo walkthrough of the merchant's own catalogue.

02

Referral loop

One month free per referral, targeting 40% referral-sourced acquisition.

03

BSP marketplaces

Plugin distribution through Mercado Pago, Izipay or Niubiz partner marketplaces for near-zero CAC mercadopago.com.peizipay.com.peniubiz.com.

Data room

Request the investor memorandum

A 33-page memorandum covering both divisions: the thesis, the unit economics of each business, three-year projections, use of funds, the risk register and the full compliance position.

It also contains an appendix stating every assumption, every gap in the evidence and every inconsistency found while preparing it — including the fact that the company is pre-revenue. We would rather you read that before you ask.

The memorandum is delivered by email after you request it below., or open the online data room.

Delivered by email immediately. Your details are never shared and are processed only to send the document, in line with Peru's Ley 29733.
